International Women's Day with foodpanda

Foodpanda is an online food and grocery delivery platform that’s a subsidiary of Delivery Hero, and is headquartered in Singapore. It’s the largest food and grocery delivery platform in Asia, outside of China.

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a widely celebrated day that’s observed on March 8th every year. It’s a global holiday that serves to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women everywhere. 

 

2022’s theme was Break The Bias, a campaign for a gender equal world free of bias, stereotypes, and discribnation. As part of their week-long International Women’s Day celebrations, foodpanda invited us to engage their employees in a fun and exciting online event.

Ready for The Great Scavenger Hunt?

To celebrate IWD, we hosted The Great Scavenger Hunt, a fast-paced virtual game that got all the participants up and about, scavenging their homes for their precious gems. Each round progressed with increasing points to score, but of course, we didn’t make it easy for anyone - it is a competition after all! The game highlights the incredible diversity we all have hidden in our homes, and helps us learn about gender biases in many different ways - from female inventors to the pink tax.
