Celebrating a Gender Working Group with Schroders
Schroders is a multinational asset management company founded in 1804, with over 5,000 employees worldwide. Headquartered in London, UK, they have offices globally in Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and the Middle East.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a widely celebrated day that’s observed on March 8th every year. It’s a global holiday that serves to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women everywhere.
2022’s theme was Break The Bias, a campaign for a gender equal world free of bias, stereotypes, and discribnation. We were invited by Schroders gender working group in Singapore to put on a fun and engaging event for their employees to learn more about International Women’s Day.

Ready for The Great Scavenger Hunt?
To celebrate IWD, we hosted The Great Scavenger Hunt, a fast-paced virtual game that got all the participants up and about, scavenging their homes for their precious gems. Each round progressed with increasing points to score, but of course, we didn’t make it easy for anyone - it is a competition after all! The game highlights the incredible diversity we all have hidden in our homes, and helps us learn about gender biases in many different ways - from female inventors to the pink tax.
