What To Do With Your Kids in Singapore This Summer

Fun activities to sign your kids up in Singapore

This summer is set to be a long one, with many unable to travel as the pandemic rolls over to its second year in Singapore. Parents are already panicking about what to do with their kids this summer in the city.

The age old debate of what to do with children in the summer ensues - should they be allowed to relax, learn, or play?! Do they want to running around in a sports camp, crafting in an art camp or learning about science in a science camp? Should they be studying more, or learning life skills such as public speaking, logical thinking? Cyberlite Books has come up with the perfect answer for both Singapore and International school kids. Their new program has children working towards earning skills that convert to badges! Bringing STEAM education and technology to life in Singapore with super fun hands-on activities that will stimulate curiosity!

There are two key workshops children are able to participate in:

GENIUS LAB workshop offers budding inventors a window onto the digital world of game design and engineering. The staff will encourage them to engage with an adventure games design, building the machine from objects and materials available in the studio, selling their inventions on the market and defend the information from cyber enemies.

MAKERS STUDIO workshop will attract big dreamers who are continually impressed by crafts, design and storytelling. By adopting a ‘have a go’ attitude, the children aged 7 to 12 will design a brand new product upon customer request and reassure the customer that their invention stands out from the rest, build a working prototype of their design and become a Cybercrime Investigator.

June and July workshops are available for booking NOW!
